"Empowering the Voice of Youth in Local Government"
The Manchester Youth Commission is a diverse group of youth collaborating with local government, in an effort to create open communication in the decision making process, making it possible to strengthen the community through the voice of youth.
The Youth Commission consists of up to twenty-four (24) members. Members are youth who reside in Manchester; are enrolled in or entering grades 9 through 12; or for up to four members, under the age of 19 enrolled in MCC; are able to serve a minimum of two (2) years unless joining as a senior or MCC student.
